VGM Fulfillment is national leader is CPAP machine and resupply order fulfillment. As an employee-owned company, every person at VGM has a personal stake in seeing business succeed. We do this by taking responsibility from our customers for the key operations of order fulfillment: picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management. Our network of fulfillment centers is strategically located throughout the United States providing coverage to all 50 states. This role needs to be present onsite at our warehouse location in Phoenix, AZ.
Job Purpose Summary:
This position is responsible for daily unloading and stocking products while checking the quantity and quality of the merchandise. In addition, receiving associates must enter information about incoming merchandise into our operating system. After the product has been logged it will be moved into storage located in the warehouse.
Reporting to: Site Manager
Working Location: On-site at warehouse in Phoenix, AZ
Working Hours: Full-Time; Monday-Friday, 1st shift 6:00am-3:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Consistently meets or exceeds departmental expectations.
- Accurately take inventory of items that have been received.
- Match items to their specific purchase orders.
- Receive items into scanner.
- Moving received product to secondary and/or primary locations.
- Maintain 48-hours receiving of all freight and ground receipts.
- Driving a fork truck to move pallets of items
- Be available to come in early and stay late as needed to provide adequate support to the business.
- Maintain a clean and safety work environment to prevent accidents and injuries
- Maintain compliance, safety, and quality standards by ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures
- Operating material handling devices like forklifts, following safety procedures, maintaining precise records of all product movements, and implementing quality control measures are crucial
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working with others of varying backgrounds.
- Set a positive example through personal attendance and time management.
- Be willing and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment to support business objectives.
- Demonstrate accurate verbal and written communication skills.
- Work cooperatively in a team environment to achieve business goals and growth opportunities
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to assist with other departmental functions upon request.

Key Qualifications:
- Fork truck experience preferred but not required.
- Able to work with others.
- Willing to work overtime if needed which include a few Saturdays, or a couple extra hours during the week
Education:
- High School diploma or GED
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the facility a majority of the day
- Ability to lift, push, and slide product and equipment typically weight up to 15lbs, and some weighting up to 30lbs
- Operation of warehouse machinery and equipment (e.g., carts, hand trucks, forklifts, reach trucks, etc.)
- Visual abilities to include reading, distance vision and peripheral vision
