ECHO Incorporated is looking for a Receiving Clerk to join our expanding team. This role is responsible for gathering data, reporting daily receiving activities, supporting key performance indicators (KPIs), and organizing daily inbound documentation.

1st Shift Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:15pm Starting at $17.50/HR!

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Greet and check in drivers, assigning them to appropriate dock doors for unloading.

  • Unload inbound trucks and containers, both domestic and international.

  • Load and unload transfer trucks efficiently.

  • Verify incoming shipments and match items against packing lists.

  • Accurately receive inventory using AS-400 (XA) and WMS (SCE) systems.

  • Confirm receipt transactions through Powerlink.

  • Ensure all items are properly stored and organized.

  • Complete DPR forms as needed for damaged products.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy at all receiving locations.

  • Investigate and respond to receiving discrepancies.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to support operational flow.

  • Assist with general warehouse tasks as required.

  • Collect and report daily receiving and materials KPI data.

  • Sort, count, and record inbound bills daily, forwarding totals to the transportation team.

  • Scan and archive packing lists from previous day’s receipts for accounting purposes.

  • Process and organize daily UPS/FedEx packages for prompt delivery.

  • Enter inbound purchase orders into XA and SCE systems.

  • Retrieve ASN numbers and manage storage locations to support receiving and put-away processes.

  • Schedule inbound freight deliveries and truckloads.

  • Gather necessary details to assist customer service in issuing credit memos for returned products.

  • Promote safety, cleanliness, and security in the workplace; report issues to management promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient with computers and basic office software.

  • Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment.

  • At least 1 year of forklift experience, including sit-down, reach truck, and order picker.

  • Must be able to consistently lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Availability for overtime as required, including occasional Saturdays.

  • Experience with XA and/or SCE systems preferred; training will be provided if needed.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (phone, email, in-person).

  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
