Position Duties
- Facilitate targeting of participants and the referral process for assigned program and conducts intake and screening and prepares reports for treatment court core team
- Serve as coordinator/case manager for program participants
- Obtain treatment court and other agency releases of information
- Refer for treatment assessment to clinical entities; and assists in preparation of treatment plans
- Serve as liaison to agency partners such as adult probation officers, treatment providers, and social service agencies to monitor participant progress
- Prepare written reports and provide oral information at staff meetings
- Schedule court status conferences, coordinates court hearings, and makes written and oral reports to the court
- Perform random drug testing and enters results of testing from multiple agencies into a centralized database
- Enter detailed data on participants on a timely basis and maintains copies of court judgments in manual files
- Enter data into a grant management information system and research and participate in grant writing to purse additional funding
- Ensure treatment court core team is staffed appropriately with members from relevant agencies
- Coordinate additional partners and resources for effective program delivery and local community to include universities/community college.
- Attend treatment, court, hospital, etc. meetings with and for assigned clients
Minimum Qualifications
Additional Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must have Military experience.

- Knowledge of the principles and practices of case management
- Knowledge of interviewing methods and techniques
- Knowledge of budgets and invoice processing
- Knowledge of substance abuse and mental health assessments and services
- Skilled in diagnostic methods and principles
- Skilled in basic structure of the civil and criminal justice systems
- Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel to create communication documents and spreadsheets and Microsoft PowerPoint to create presentations
- Ability to identify symptoms of substance abuse
- Ability to solve problems analytically, and maintain records, files and reports
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with court staff and individuals outside of the judicial branch
- Ability to develop and foster a spirit of teamwork to improve the quality of work teams and committees and to bring people from different agencies together to accomplish the goals of the program

Driving is an essential function of this position. To be considered, you must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. If your driver's license is from another state, you will be required to obtain and show proof of a valid NC driver's license within 60 days of hire.
