LeadOn is a Los Angeles-based program designed to provide extended resources and opportunities to young adults who have been justice-involved. LeadOn participants are young adults who will likely have experienced justice system involvement, inclusive confinement/incarcerations, arrest, detainment, and or system contact and will have demonstrated successful re-entry into their communities. At each placement site, LeadOn participants will provide their site with approximately 10-20 hours per week of work. Services may include administrative tasks, program-specific tasks, and other tasks depending on the specific needs of the organization.

Active car insurance and continued access to a vehicle with a valid and current driver’s license

Bachelor's degree in social sciences

What You Will Do
This is a temporary full-time role with the potential to transition to permanent, pending funding renewal. The anticipated start date for this position is August 18, 2025 with a term through Jan. 31, 2026. You will report to the LeadOn Program Manager.
You’ll assist with the functionality of the Los Angeles County LeadOn and California Justice Leaders programs. The program coordinator will assist the program manager(s), senior program manager, and director of Leadership Programs with program planning and implementation, training, creating policies, protocols and procedures for various aspects of this program, coordinating logistics for training, member timekeeping development and program application, and working directly with participants. This position will assist with data collection and monitoring, help match members with placements sites, and provide member support and guidance.
This position will also be responsible for supporting logistics around member orientation, onboarding, ongoing training, and graduation. Travel responsibilities will include site visits to the surrounding Los Angeles County area.
Your core responsibilities will be:
Manage participant weekly timekeeping system and monthly training calendar to monitor participants’ target hours served and on-going professional development support.
Facilitate learning sessions and provide one-on-one supportive coaching for participants when needed.
Manage, gather, and report data related to participant involvement, timekeeping, and progress (attendance, skill progress, evaluations, reported well-being, etc.) ensuring regular and on-going documentation.
Assist in the organization of technical logistics and coordination, including but not limited to:
large-scale events and convening (virtual and in person once safe to do so)
cycles of course-based learning
Assist with management of data collection case management system
Build professional partnerships with host sites and external partners
Work with consultants as needed

This position is a temporary, nonexempt, salaried position with a rate of $4932 per month, less lawful deductions. This position is located in our Los Angeles, CA office, and will work under a hybrid schedule.
