Hybrid School Health Assistant - Substitute - Hourly, as needed chez Temple City Unified School District

Classified Substitutes are called upon, as needed, to fill the temporary needs of various departments and school sites. General Description: The School Health Assistant supports the daily operations of the Health Services Department by assisting in the care of students’ health needs. This role involves providing basic first aid and emergency treatment, maintaining accurate health records, helping students with disabilities, and performing various clerical duties to ensure a safe and healthy school environment. The School Health Assistant works under the general supervision of the Coordinator of Health Services and the Site Administrator to promote student well-being and adhere to health regulations.

High School Diploma or equivalent. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant Certification is preferred. Valid and current First Aid and CPR certifications.
