Under direct supervision, responsible for assisting with database report writing and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Creates, designs, coordinates and runs database reports using PC platforms or report writing tools based on end-user needs.
- Assists in implementing appropriate reporting solutions, data analysis and management reporting.
- Collaborates with end-users to determine reporting needs and design specifications.
- Extracts and collects data for performing queries and writing reports.
- Performs quality assurance and testing for all reports.
- May assist end-users on report writing.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Access.
- Ability to analyze data and communicate results to higher education audiences, both verbally and written.
- Knowledge with data analytics, management reporting, and report development tools, such as Crystal Reports, PL/SQL, SQL, SQL Server Report Services, and SAS is highly preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
Experience:
- One (1) year of experience with data analysis is required.
Company
- Front-loaded Paid Time Off: 128 to 208 hours (16 to 26 days) of Paid Time Off based on years of service, given at the start of each fiscal year. PTO may be prorated in year one based on date of hire.
