Job Description: Communications Coordinator
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Communications Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our internal and external communications strategies, working collaboratively with various departments to promote our brand and enhance our visibility in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute communication plans to promote organizational initiatives and events.
- Manage and update the organization's website and social media platforms with engaging content.
- Write and distribute press releases, newsletters, and other communication materials.
- Coordinate and support internal communication initiatives to enhance employee engagement.
- Assist in organizing events, workshops, and outreach programs to promote the brand.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on communication effectiveness and audience reach.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a communications or public relations role, preferably in a non-profit or similar environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in social media management and digital marketing strategies.
- Familiarity with media relations and experience in writing press releases.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
