About the Department
Position Duties
- Oversee front desk operations.
- Check-in members, answer phone calls, and collect memberships fees.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to complete transactions.
- Provide information about memberships, programs, and schedules.
- Use facility management software (Xplor) for scheduling, check-ins, and reporting.
- Maintain class attendance records, document facility use, and assist with basic data entry.
- Open and/or close the facility following established procedures.
- Monitor entire gym floor to ensure safety protocols are being followed.
- Regularly inspect and maintain equipment while ensuring all equipment is in working condition and sanitized.
- Create continuity of services and promote future growth.
- Set up and break down equipment for classes, events, or competitions.
- Assist in creating content (photos, videos, captions) for social media platforms.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, and
- Any equivalent combination of experience of training.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest in strength sports, Olympic lifting, or personal training.
- Photography/video editing experience.
- Enthusiastic, team-oriented, and highly dependable.
