About the Department

Teaching swimming lessons to a wide variety of students.

Position Duties

• Responsible for developing and maintaining lesson plans and testing for all assigned levels
• Ability to direct and maintain control of class participants
• Responsible for accurately maintaining paperwork for each class
• Ability to communicate effectively with the general public and staff members
• Ability to demonstrate swimming strokes
• Accurate evaluation of class structure and participant stroke proficiency

Minimum Qualifications

• Current Water Safety Instructors Certificate or willing to enroll 
• Good working knowledge of swimming lessons
• Minimum of 15 years old

• Friendly and mature attitude
• Desire to work with children
• Good organization and communication skills
