The Team You Would Join:
You would be part of the Asia Marketing Team, led by the Head of Marketing - Asia. The team consists of brand managers, digital marketers, and trade marketing professionals who apply their expertise to navigate evolving market conditions and develop marketing-led innovations that expand access to brighter lives.
What you will be expected to do:
- Planning & Execution
- Develop annual promotional plans at both brand and country levels, aligned with brand guidelines, sales insights, and consumer/shopper behavior.
- Maximize off-take for company brands through effectively implemented trade initiatives.
- Coordinate with Trade Marketing, Brand, and Sales teams to create high-quality, cost-optimized Point of Sale Materials (POSM), including vendor negotiations.
- Conceptualize and implement trade promotions and offline activations in line with business needs and marketing budgets.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with the sales team and channel partners.
- Roll out impactful in-store campaigns with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date data on vendors, quotations, budgets, and campaign results.
- Forecast production needs for merchandise and promotional material across channels.
- Manage shipment of promotional assets to all target markets within agreed timelines.
- Handle trade marketing budget efficiently, ensuring compliance with cost controls and a balance between quality and price.
- Events & Conferences
- Coordinate with event organizers to meet all operational and logistical requirements.
- Align with Brand Managers to ensure timely delivery of creative materials.
- Execute brand-aligned stall setups and event branding with required approvals.
- Ensure prompt delivery of event inventories and marketing materials.
- Track and evaluate planned vs. actual ROI for all events and activations.
- Reporting & Administration
- Compile and share dashboards, sales trackers, activity timelines, and other necessary documentation.
- Conduct performance evaluations of promotions using estimated ROI, field feedback, and available data sources.
- Market Audits & Trade Visits
- Visiting Visit points of sale regularly to validate implementation, visibility standards, and shelf share objectives.
- Audit key visibility initiatives and submit timely reports.
- Conduct periodic trade visits to collect market insights, assess the execution of new launches, and address any identified issues.
- Monitoring & Market Activity
- Track developments in the external market, including activities by peer brands and their potential business impact.
You might be a strong candidate if you have/are:
- 2 – 3 years of experience in trade marketing within a consumer-facing organization with a strong retail footprint.
- Exposure to pan-India campaign execution, including both ATL and BTL activations.
- A creative and resourceful mindset with a strong orientation toward cost-effective solutions.
- High levels of organization, attention to detail, and a structured, data-driven approach.
- Effective negotiation and communication skills.
- Initiative-taking attitude and the ability to work independently.
- Strong task and project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
