As the Accounts Payable Manager, you’ll lead the department and play a pivotal role in maintaining our culture of customer service excellence. Our Accounts Payable Manager is required to have experience leading accounts payable operations, managing vendor relationships, and mentoring team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, management, or a related field
- Ten years of accounts payable experience
What We’re Looking For:
- Extensive expertise in accounts payable processes, systems, and best practices (10 year minimum)
- Proven leadership skills with a passion for developing and mentoring a high-performing team
- Experience collaborating with executive teams to provide accurate, timely financial information and insights
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships across departments and with vendors
- Ability to think critically, organize effectively, and pay close attention to detail
- Proficiency with financial software and technology to drive efficiency and accuracy
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic that aligns with our company values
- Commitment to ethical behavior and adherence to company policies and financial regulations
- Confidence in communicating complex financial information
What You’ll Do:
- Source and implement software to automate trade payables using a three-way match process
- Lead and oversee accounts payable operations to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Interview and onboard new team members
- Train, support, motivate, and mentor department team members
- Deliver constructive performance evaluations to guide development and celebrate achievements
- Compile, analyze, and present financial reports to management
- Investigate accounts payable issues as needed
- Set and facilitate the achievement of department objectives
- Develop, implement, improve, and enforce budgets, policies, and departmental controls to increase accuracy and efficiency
- Build and maintain strong relationships with team members, clients, and vendors
- Ensure all negotiated contracts are paid as agreed
- Manage and complete all projects as assigned
- Communicate all significant activities to the Director of Accounting and Finance
- Adhere to all company safety rules, standards, and guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
