We are seeking a friendly and energetic Phlebotomist/Processor with excellent people skills to enhance our team. Ideal candidates will have a collaborative spirit and a commitment to supporting both our patients and our team’s goals.
Pay: $18.98 - $25.69 Per Hour DOE
Schedule: On-call; days and hours vary depending on coverage needs
Location: 11750 SW Barnes Rd. Ste 140
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Administrative duties: Providing excellent customer service, answering phones, and monitoring for instrumentation alarms.
- Technical responsibilities: Performing venipuncture for blood collection, obtaining additional specimen types as required, and preparing all samples for lab testing and screening.
- Accurate data management: Verifying specimen information, performing data entry, and properly identifying patient information.
- Specimen handling: Receiving, processing, and packaging samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity.
- Compliance: Following safety protocols, HIPAA policies, Medicare rules, and participating in quality assurance.
- Flexibility: Covering work shifts at different sites as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Minimum Qualifications:Education & Certification
High School Diploma or equivalent
Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and team members
High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently

- High level of staff activity and interaction in relatively close proximity.
- Must be able to hear in order to monitor alarms and respond to any safety hazards in a timely manner.
- Regularly exposed to infection by handling potentially infectious samples.
- Wearing appropriate protective gear: Lab coat, gloves, goggles, and face shield.
- Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, crawl, bend and twist as needed.
- Requires walking on non-level surfaces, inside and outside the office, throughout the day.
- Frequent bending and stooping.
- Typically stands for extended period of times.
- Ability to work long hours, and overtime, as needed.
- Lifting up to 30 pounds.
OSHA Category: This position performs tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, and/or tissues. All employees performing these duties are offered the opportunity to receive the Hepatitis-B vaccination series.
