Summary: The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support decision-making within an organization.
Primary Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial forecasting, reporting and operational metrics of business performance.
- Analyze past results, performing variance analysis, identifying trends and make recommendations for improvements.
- Develop financial models through benchmarking and process analysis to inform business decision making.
- Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders.
- Analyze trends in revenue, expenses and profitability.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather data and provide financial insights.
- Coordinate with the CFO and executive team for long-term financial planning.
- Participate in the budget process and forecasts, as necessary.
- Assist costing in new product launches and standard costing as necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance or business management, or other related discipline required
- 3-5 years of direct financial analysis experience required, preferably in a similar role in the manufacturing industry
- Experience with ERP systems
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated financial modeling and analysis skills

- Ability to analyze and interpret complex sets of data and make business recommendations based on analysis.
- Understanding of IT systems and electronic communications within manufacturing finance required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of business processes and cycles and ability to maintain the integrity of confidential business information.
- Effective negotiation skills and ability to develop good working relationships with other team members, customers, and suppliers.
- Excellent people skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and in a variety of cultures.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced small company environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities.
Language Skills:
- English is the primary language skill; however, bilingual skills may be beneficial based on business necessity.
