We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CLO Associate / Loan Closer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of CLO warehouses, overseeing trade settlements, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation and reconciliation across multiple systems and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily activity of CLO warehouses, including communication of trade flow between fund managers and TRS providers, and resolution of discrepancies.
- Enter and close CLO warehouse trades in LoanIQ (LIQ) to maintain accurate position tracking.
- Interpret warehouse legal documentation to monitor and manage the full trade lifecycle.
- Reconcile warehouse economics with CLO fund managers to ensure alignment.
- Manage trade portfolios across multiple business lines, ensuring timely settlement and minimal open trade aging.
- Set up and maintain new trades and fund allocations in internal systems.
- Draft loan trade closing documentation (e.g., trade confirmations, transfer documents, pricing letters) when not using electronic platforms.
- Coordinate with traders, sales, and legal teams (internal and external) on trade documentation and amendments.
- Escalate issues to front office, legal, compliance, or management as needed.
- Liaise with clients, internal teams, and external agents to ensure smooth trade closings.
- Prepare and review settlement calculations, including delayed compensation, cost of carry, and commitment reduction benefits.
- Resolve post-trade settlement cash queries with internal and external clients.
- Monitor and action waivers and amendments across the portfolio, including bankruptcy and restructuring events.
- Support internal initiatives to improve automation and strengthen controls across the global franchise.
- Assist the Sales Desk with onboarding new counterparties, ensuring all systems are updated accordingly.
- Support the Trading Desk in coordinating setup of new deals and facilities, ensuring accurate mapping across Trade Capture, LoanIQ, and ClearPar.
- Create shell deals/facilities in LoanIQ as needed.
- Manage exceptions from daily system reconciliations, resolving discrepancies between internal systems and ClearPar.
- Assist Secondary Loan Closers in resolving counterparty and facility identifier issues, including coordination of Cancel & Correct (CnC) processes or static data updates.
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in loan operations, CLOs, or trade settlement.
- Familiarity with LoanIQ and ClearPar is highly preferred.
- Understanding of information wall barriers is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation.
- Exceptional client service skills, both internal and external.
Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $100,000 - $125,000.

The salary offered will take into consideration an individual’s experience level and qualifications.
