Position: Human Resources Administrator
Reports To: Human Resources Manager
Position Overview: Supports the Human Resource Department by responding to the day-to-day Human Resource functions for all properties. Responsible for maintenance of the employee database and guiding employees through the hiring and separation process.
These duties may be described as, but not limited to:
- Greets public, fields employee concerns, and supports office with Human Resources processes to uphold company standard.
- Maintain employee files and process paperwork according to company policy. Ensure employees are entered in HRIS accurately and in a timely matter.
- Handles multiple functions within HRIS, including Resource Center, Homepage, Onboarding and Training. Understands the system and seeks to become advanced user.
- Completes ongoing training via ADP to ensure knowledge of updates or changes within system. Communicates these changes and new features to Human Resources Manager.
- Assist with access for managers and employees. Ensure managers have access to correct employees. Update system as needed.
- Responsible for responding to unemployment inquiries, employment verifications and other requests.
- Responsible for drafting the daily Huddle Up newsletter and assisting with content creation.
- Responsible for processing workers’ compensation claims and acting as a liaison between claims adjusters and injured employees when necessary.
- Assist Recruiter with forwarding of resumes and applications and setting up interviews.
- Responsible for administrative duties pertaining to personnel policies and procedures.
- Participate in upholding department goals, objectives, systems, and database.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Responsible for Human Resources projects as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Comfortable communication with all levels of management and employees
- Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must possess confidential and discreet manner.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Possesses exceptional organizational skills.
- Team orientation, enthusiasm, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in an office setting.
