About the Position
The Business Development Representative (fully Hybrid, based in Cape Town) is responsible for driving market penetration, lead generation and partner acquisition through high-volume outreach initiatives and strategic relationship-building with businesses. The focus is on building long-term referral partnerships and growing Nestify’s footprint across key international markets in the United Kingdom and United Arab Emirates.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Build and form new business relationships with property professionals and businesses in the United Kingdom (UK) and United Arab Emirates (UAE);
- Schedule and host qualified B2B partnership meetings;
- Secure signed agreements with relevant referral or service partners
- Generate and qualify high-quality B2B sales leads for the sales executive team;
- Conduct structured lead generation outreach campaigns via various platforms;
- Focus on the UK and UAE market penetration;
- Maintain CRM accuracy and activity reporting on the Company CRM system
- Track pipeline progress and report on average time to deal
- Provide detailed reporting across outreach, lead generation, and partner acquisition
Qualifications, Knowledge & Work Experience
- 2 to 3 years of work experience in business development role with a focus on B2B lead generation and building business partnerships in a ‘service-related’ business field;
- 2 to 3 years work experience with high-volume cold call outreach via various platforms such as telephone calls, email, social media etc;
- Work experience and a proven track record generating business leads and managing a B2B sales leads pipeline;
- Familiarity with BANT or other ‘lead qualification frameworks;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and negotiations skills
- Ability to independently manage workload and consistently meet and/or exceed performance targets
- Working knowledge of CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Pipedrive
Work Arrangement
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00 to 17:00 (South African Time)
- This is a full time, ‘HYBRID’ position, operating from Cape Town, South Africa
