Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Engineer (QE) with 3-5 years of experience in Java automation, healthcare domain knowledge, and a strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our healthcare software products through rigorous testing and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design test plans.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects and ensure their resolution.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards and regulations.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of Java and experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG).
- Familiarity with healthcare domain and related standards (e.g., HIPAA, X12 files).
- Solid understanding of SDLC and various testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure).
