Arobas Personnel is seeking a talented Network RF Engineer for a contract with one of our clients in located in Mississauga. 

 *Remote : Hybrid- 3 days/week in the office* 

What will your day look like?

  • Design advanced RF networks for 5G and LTE to ensure excellent coverage, capacity, and user experience that gives us a competitive edge.
  • Analyze RF performance to identify network issues and implement solutions that enhance quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct site surveys and RF measurements to evaluate existing infrastructure and identify optimal locations for deployment.
  • Plan and design new sites using RF simulation tools such as Atoll, focusing on ROI and network performance.
  • Design antenna systems for new sites and upgrades (antenna type, height, orientation, tilt, and ensure SC6 compliance).
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Planning, Construction, Real Estate, Field Ops, etc.) to ensure seamless integration.
  • Assess network KPIs and customer experience metrics after site deployment to measure improvements.
  • Create technical documentation and Installation Work Orders to support deployments and demonstrate impact.
  • Proactively analyze and improve existing network performance.
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes and coordinate with the appropriate teams to implement automation within the Wireless Engineering and Operations environments.

What we’re looking for:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 5–7+ years of experience in RF design and optimization, focused on 5G and LTE networks.
  • Strong working knowledge of RAN technologies: HSPA/UMTS, LTE, 5G NSA/SA.
  • Hands-on experience with Network Management Systems such as Nokia NetAct, Ericsson ENM, Huawei U2020.
  • Familiarity with radio hardware components (antennas, radios, basebands).
  • Skilled in Actix Analyzer and drive test data analysis.
  • Proficient in using Atoll or similar RF planning tools.
  • Business-oriented mindset with the ability to evaluate the impact and value of technical work.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to perform root cause analysis using KPIs and customer metrics.
  • Strong time management and organizational capabilities.
  • A collaborative, innovative mindset with a passion for improving customer experience and team outcomes.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or multi-team Agile environments.
