Indiana Farmers Insurance is currently looking for a Technology Enablement Team Leader to join our Information Technology Team. 


The Technology Enablement Team Leader will lead a small team of technologists focused on driving the adoption of modern software engineering practices across the enterprise. The role will require effective thought leadership and change management to help IT teams and associates embrace new technologies and practices. A significant portion of the role will be hands-on, contributing to code, prototyping solutions, and building tools for use by developers and engineers.

Requirements

Qualifications and Responsibilities for the Technology Enablement Team Leader :

  • Degree in computer technology or closely related field, required
  • 10 years of related experience, preferably in the insurance industry
  • Proven experience in hands-on software engineering, DevOps, or technology leadership role 
  • Strong knowledge of modern development practices and platforms, including CI/CD, containerization, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud environments 
  • Strong expertise with toolchains like GitHub, Jenkins, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills required for effective communication at the staff, peer, and executive levels of the organization, along with vendors and other contacts while managing a project
