Your Mission, Should You Choose To Accept It:

As our Financial Controller, you’ll be at the heart of The Social Hub’s financial operations, ensuring accurate, compliant, and high-quality reporting. With a portfolio that spans hotels, restaurants, coworking spaces, and student living across Europe (Netherlands, Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Spain, UK and Portugal), you’ll play a key role in shaping the financial backbone of our growing multinational organization.

You’ll report to the Finance Director Accounting & Reporting, and closely collaborate with finance and operational teams, to ensure accurate, timely, consistent accounting and reporting. You’ll also contribute to improving financial processes, driving continuous improvement, and supporting TSH’s exciting growth journey.

In Case You Don’t Know Who We Are (Ahem)…

Known for being the rule breakers in hospitality, TSH is a fun, creative and inspiring environment where everyone can work, stay, learn and play and most importantly – be themselves. As an employer we look, act and think like a hotel, but instead we offer a lot more. Think student accommodation, long and short stay options, gyms, talks, events, rooftop bar and eat & drink escapes as well as community and coworking spaces.

What You’ll Do:

  • Take the lead in consolidating group entities in Tagetik and ensure reconciliations are spot-on and audit-ready.
  • Prepare and review our group financial statements under IFRS — notes, conversion files, and all the good stuff.
  • Coordinate local statutory reporting with teams across Treasury, Tax, Legal, Risk, and more — you're the glue that holds it all together.
  • Drive smooth and timely reporting to banks and shareholders, always keeping our stakeholders in the loop.
  • Be our go-to expert for the chart of accounts and ensure consistency across all countries and entities.
  • Own audit cycles and financial system know-how (think NetSuite and Tagetik) while playing a key role in broader improvement and ESG initiatives.

What You’ll Have:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in (Business) Economics or Accounting.
  • 6+ years of experience in audit, financial control, reporting, or accounting roles. Expertise in IFRS, consolidation, and complex accounting topics. Proficiency in financial systems like NetSuite, Tagetik, and Excel.
  • A Post-Master qualification (RA/CPA or equivalent) and/or Big4 background is a plus.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A proactive, independent, and results-oriented mindset.

What We Offer:

  • The opportunity to work at a dynamic, multi-national company. Not just another hotel - we’re a game changing innovator, challenging every convention and defining the future
  • The opportunity to work for a Certified B Corp® company that balances profit with positive impact, collaborating with organizations like Movement on the Ground and the TSH Talent Foundation to create meaningful change
  • The chance to learn and grow in your role with the potential for future growth
  • Awesome discounts in all our properties in Europe and not just for you, but also for your friends and family!
  • A wonderful workplace to call home, full of events, fun colleagues and all the other amazing salary/benefits stuf
