Job Summary: You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the UNDERSEA SYSTEMS ACQUISITION AND ASSESSMENT DIVISION of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA. The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Major Duties:
- You will be is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and management of comprehensive, affordable, and effective systems support strategies.
- You will ensure that logistical considerations are addressed, and requirements are achieved at each stage of the lifecycle.
- You will establish consistent logistics related processes, business rules, roles and responsibilities and work with other agencies to ensure timely, coordinated, and efficient logistics function.
- You will identify the specific requirements for money, manpower, material, facilities, and services needed to support programs.
- You will prepare, coordinate, and integrate the identification, acceptance, development, acquisition, tracking and delivery of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) requirements for systems or equipment assigned to programs.
- You will ensure that contractors fulfill their ILS responsibilities in support of production of weapon systems.
- You will ensure that adequate logistics provisions are planned, developed, and implemented to ensure the identification, prevention and correction of unsatisfactory conditions.
- You will coordinate, monitor and evaluate the results of ILS on torpedo production hardware and it's transfer into operational use.
- You will assess available data, evaluate, and prepare status reports and schedules as required to complete project assignments.
- You will develop, specify, manage, plan, review and apply ILS elements, principles, disciplines, procedures, and requirements in support of production acceptance policies, procedures, and tasks.
Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a Logistics Manager preparing, coordinating, tracking and developing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) requirements for assinged programs.
