Job Summary: You will serve as a Security Specialist in the Security Office of MCTSSA CAMPEN.
Major Duties:
- You will manage and monitor personnel and physical security programs to ensure compliance with national and organizational requirements.
- You will screen personnel records, conduct interviews, and recommend actions based on findings to protect sensitive information.
- You will perform inspections, maintain security documentation, and ensure facility compliance with internal control and access policies.
- You will brief and debrief individuals and maintain accurate records of those with access to classified materials or information.
- You will investigate security violations and recommend corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
- You will develop and deliver security training to educate staff on their responsibilities and potential threats.
- You will represent the organization in meetings, provide expert advice, and help shape security policies that support long-term goals.
Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Extensive understanding, specialized skills, and fundamental knowledge of the following security programs: information security; sensitive compartmental information; special security requirements; force protection; anti-terrorism; information protection; AND/OR physical security.
