Engineering Intern
We are looking for an Engineering (Technical) Intern for our Grand Prairie, TX site!
The Engineering Intern will be working with closely with the Business Unit Manager to optimize the shot peening process, working on 3D modeling and 3D printing.
Location: Grand Prairie, TX
Salary: $18-$19/hour

Your Challenge
- Operate and maintain a 3D Printer.
- Design and fabricate custom tooling using conventional methods and 3D printing.
- Identify opportunities for masking/general improvements.
- Identify opportunities for masking/general improvements
- Create SolidWorks models, assemblies and drawings
- Support machine improvements, troubleshooting, & repairs
- Research and procure materials from vendors
- Potentially travel to facilities for on-site work
What You Bring
- Engineering student, majors: industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar
- CAD Modeling Experience (SolidWorks)
- 3D Printing Experience
- Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
Please note this is an open-ended internship working through the summer and during the academic year at our Grand Prairie, TX location.
