Bulk Warehouse Supervisor


 

The Bulk Warehouse Supervisor is responsible to maintain inventory and materials, communicate and manage area needs, perform routine operations, and oversee forklift training and operations.


 

Maintain Inventory and Materials
Maintain and track inventory by performing cycle counts, inventory adjustments, transfers, and yearly audits. Process incoming material to ensure proper weights, measurements, and documentation.

Communicate and Manage Needs
Maintain strong communication with the DC Manager and Assistant Manager. Compile and provide reports to assist in making decisions regarding inventory control, warehouse space needs, equipment requirements, logistic support, and efficient shipping practices.

Perform Routine Operations
Process daily jobs and direct the flow of work to ensure that order processing and shipping is completed as efficiently as possible. Assist staff in prioritizing various jobs daily.

Oversee Forklift Training and Operations
Train and supervise the bulk forklift drivers, ensuring that they are operating the forklifts with the highest level of safety and responsibility. Ensure that drivers maintain quality work. Perform routine services and basic maintenance of all forklifts and batteries. Monitor, report, and remove any unsafe forklifts from service.

Education

Required Education:

HS - General Studies Preferred Education: College Degree


 

Work Experience

Required Experience:

1+ years in warehouse operations Preferred Experience: 2+ years as a warehouse supervisor


 

Physical Requirements and Skills

Decision Making, Forklift Operations, Microsoft Applications, Oral Communications, Order Picking, Written Communication
