The Computer Equipment Maintenance Tech will be responsible for receiving and shipping equipment as it flows to and from the stores. They will be in charge of categorizing and recording equipment and stage in appropriate areas.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Responsible for scanning, sorting, categorizing computer equipment as it comes back from the store, ensuring our database is updated with current information.
Be a liaison to other departments when other equipment needs redirected.
Assist the Send Out Lead in fulfilling equipment and phone related requests for the stores
Responsible for handling a large volume of trash, cardboard and plastic to receptacle and recycle containers.
Be available to setup equipment for new stores and training systems
Repair and cleaning of small computer equipment as needed.
Process warranty returns with manufacturers.
Maintain good relationships with other equipment technicians and all departments, ensuring that the stores are taken care of.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Good communication and organizational skills
Microsoft Excel, Word and Windows 7/10 skills
Desired:
Knowledge of computer hardware
