Description

Open position in all True Media office locations, including Kansas City, MO, Columbia, MO, St. Louis, MO, and Minneapolis, MN; Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home

 

The Senior Activation Strategist, Performance Media is responsible for running media campaign through Paid Search, Video, Display, Ecomm, Paid Social, SEO, and added vendor platforms (whitelabled or otherwise) for an assigned portfolio of True Media and/or Coegi clients (as applicable). They are responsible for consistently making optimizations within the scope of work, but also recommending additional optimizations that may be out of scope but would benefit the client and their goals. Will assist with advanced Analytics and data measurement tracking responsibilities.

Responsible for the tactical planning, execution and delivery of approved media plans related to Paid Search, Video, Display, Ecomm, Paid Social, SEO, and added vendor platforms (whitelabled or otherwise). Assist in establishing appropriate tactical media channel strategies and budgets for clients and select new business needs  Must have a working and proficient understanding of media measurements and how to creatively apply them in the Agency’s objective of exceeding the client’s goals. Responsible for proactively seeking new and innovative solutions to enhance tactical plans and buying approaches. They will coordinate meetings/introductions/webinars within the Performance Media team.

The Senior Activation Strategist, Performance Media is instrumental in education and mentorship efforts among fellow activation strategists and throughout the agency.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities. (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Provide hands-on execution of campaign set-up, optimization and analysis of Paid Search, Paid Social, Ecomm, Video, Google Display Network and Gmail Sponsored Promotion campaigns for assigned portfolio of True Media clients.
  • Assist in the creation of proposals and estimates for Paid Search, Paid Social, Ecomm, Video, Programmatic, Google Display Network and Gmail sponsored promotion campaigns.
  • Communicate with Activation Strategy Supervisor, Performance Media, search engine representatives (i.e. Google and Bing) and consultants to ensure that search campaigns meet performance goals).
  • Maintain strong communication of campaign performance, challenges and status updates to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain DataStride pacing and status documents both internally and externally.
  • Issue reports, as needed, on the effectiveness of Paid Search, Paid Social, Ecomm, Video, Google Display Network and Gmail Sponsored Promotion campaigns.
  • Reconcile invoices for assigned campaigns.
  • Seek education materials and hold applicable meetings to assist the Activation Strategy Supervisor, Performance Media in ensuring the team is adequately trained to manage their day-to-day responsibilities. Establish expertise in new tools and materials that True Media brings on internally and train others on how to use them.
  • Assist the management and leadership team with the deliverables related to Performance Media

Qualifications

  • One - two years of professional work experience in Search Engine Marketing/Digital Marketing; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Proficient with and knowledgeable of existing and new industry tools and systems for search advertising. (SEMRush, Spyfu, AdGooRoo, Google Tag Manager, Google Marketing Platform, Excel and other applicable tools)
  • Demonstrate a high level of understanding of paid search campaign management and optimization best practices.Maintain ability to implement advanced optimization techniques for search campaigns.
  • Must be able to analyze metrics from search campaigns and provide insightful and constructive observations/recommendations to Activation Strategists, Client Strategists and/or AMD Activation Strategy and clients. 
  • Demonstrate ability to successfully train and mentor others through internal training sessions and coaching.

Education 

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, degree or concentration in advertising, marketing or communications preferred.
