We are looking for someone to help with data conversion from our current ERP SL to our new ERP Oracle Fusion. The person would need strong SQL skills and a deep understanding of the SL db data structure. Knowledge of Vicinity MRP is a plus since we are pulling all BOMs from Vicinity.We are currently in System Integration Testing and providing timely data is a struggle. We extract data using SQL scripts for both Master data (Customer, items, vendors, etc.) and transactional data (orders, shipments, etc.). We hand the data over to our implementation team and they will pre-validate the data and let us know of any issues. We will tweak the script and pull fresh data until everything is resolved. In SIT, if we have good data for 98%, we would not worry about cleaning up the other two percent because we just don’t have the time and 90+ percent is enough data to test with.We would like to get someone in here to study and learn our SQL scripts from SIT so when we hit UAT they can hit the ground running. We start User Acceptance Testing in January, and it is our last test of the system before we go live. UAT will need to be 100% so we can test everything before we go live. Our planned launch date is 4/1 so we would need the resource until then and possibly longer if the timeline slips. When we are going live on 4/1 any changes that we need to make to the extracted data, need to happen very quickly so it does not interfere with the launch.
