HCRG Care Group is looking for a talented Principal Analyst, to join our dynamic team, to support with all the exciting changes happening due to our business growth If you have a strong background in data strategy, analytical tools, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact on healthcare delivery at HCRG Care Group. Primarily, the Analytics Business Partner will provide expert and proactive Analytical support to servicesfunctions (corporate andor clinical). The post-holder will act as the main interface between the services and Analytics. This is a fixed term role until July 2025, remote working with occasional travel to our regional offices.Main Responsibility Your main responsibilities will include:

  • SQL coding.
  • Tableau Desktop dashboard development.
  • Integrate Tableau with SQL Server and other platforms to achieve best in class reporting and analytics.
  • You will be able to elicit requirements from several stakeholders and produce conceptual models.
  • You will work to understand contractual and national requirements and work to document how each of there requirements cant be developed.
  • Upon agreement, detailed requirements should be passed to our Data Management team for implementation and ultimately the Principal Analyst should produce a reporting solution that hits the mark.
  • Required to localise our Data Governance process and facilitate data improvement.
  • Establish a strategic partnership with a specific business area to facilitate data improvement, provide valuable insights through specialist skills and enable evidence-based decision making.

Ideally we are looking for a passionate candidate who has:
  • Degree with significant experience in Informatics, Information Systems or other numerate subject.
  • Experience with health and social care data andor systems.
  • 3-5 years of experience with Tableau or similar data visualisation tool - creating and automating enterprise scale dashboards that incorporate the principles of effective data visualisation.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and its application.
  • Knowledge of relational database design, dimensional modelling and data integration techniques.
  • Demonstrable ability to understand business requirements and communicate business rules and data definitions.
  • Able to collaborate effectively on difficult and controversial issues including performance and change.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, through prioritising work and managing deadlines.
  • Effective organisation and time management skills - able to work independently and manage own workload.
