About Our Client

Our client is seeking a **Project Manager I** to join its Project Management Office (PMO). This hands-on project management role will support the implementation of small to medium-scale projects to ensure successful value delivery. The individual in this position will collaborate closely with customers and internal departments to ensure timely and within-scope deployments of solutions.


The Project Manager will oversee the entire project lifecycle, including pre-sale solution design, project implementation, system configuration, customer enablement, transition to Support, project closure, and, most importantly, value delivery. This role presents an exciting opportunity for hands-on project management and collaboration to support global colleagues and customers in achieving successful implementations.


Responsibilities

- **Interprets and transforms customer requirements into actionable project plans.**

- **Maintains accountability to drive assigned projects to successful completion.**

- **Collaborates closely with internal Sales and Customer Success team members, existing customers, and prospects to facilitate the design of integration solutions.**

- **Engages with customers and prospects during pre-sales efforts to scope solutions and document service requests based on customer needs and product capabilities.**

- **Develops and delivers scoping documentation to project stakeholders, both internal and external.**

- **Successful in driving multiple projects while utilizing a value-based approach with an emphasis on Speed to Value.**

- **Tracks projects and tasks through the PMO portfolio tool, closely working with Implementation Engineers on task assignments.**

- **Monitors and maintains key project dates and financial values within the PMO portfolio tool.**

- **Accurately tracks work and provides concise project status updates in line with PMO standards.**

- **Utilizes existing project processes and corresponding templates to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.**

- **Facilitates meetings by preparing agendas, and clearly communicates outcomes and action items through meeting minutes and issue logs.**

- **Sets and manages expectations with project stakeholders while escalating to leadership as necessary.**

- **Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies risks, and aids in developing contingency plans.**

- **Collaborates with internal teams to improve processes and provides feedback to the Product team on product ideas.**


Requirements:

- **A degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent work experience.**

- **Prior experience interacting with external customers is strongly preferred.**

- **Exceptional organizational and time management skills.**

- **Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.**

- **Proven ability to quickly learn new technology.**

- **Proven ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and clarify priorities in uncertain situations.**

- **Skills to manage expectations and diplomatically resolve disputes or conflicts.**

- **Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).**

- **Minimum of 2 years in a hands-on project management role, preferably in SaaS software implementation.**

- **Ability to work independently while supporting internal stakeholders and external customers.**

- **Experience in interfacing with external customers at various levels and conducting customer meetings.**

- **Demonstrated ability to work as part of a cohesive team with shared technical resources across multiple projects.**

- **Ability to interpret requirements and implementation details and communicate them internally and externally in a clear manner.**

- **Strong attention to detail in documenting effort estimates, requirements, and project timelines.**

- **Confidence to work under pressure, communicate effectively with customers, and drive team adherence to committed deadlines.**

- **Demonstrated capability in applying project management principles within an evolving organization.**


Preferred Skills

- **Relevant industry or product experience in areas (e.g., interaction analytics, contact centers, enterprise SaaS software) is desired.**


- **Experience in scoping integration solutions or providing professional services is a plus.**

- **Project Management Certification is advantageous.**


- **Familiarity with project management software (such as Microsoft Project or Planview PPM Pro) is a plus.**


- **Experience with JIRA/Confluence is a plus.**
