Profitroom - Empowering hotels directly
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager to join our Enterprise Team. You will collaborate closely with C-level leadership, reporting directly to CCO, Samantha Williams, to develop and execute a Go-To-Market strategy that targets hotel groups in given territory. This role is perfect for a self-starter who thrives on innovation and is motivated by the challenge of expanding market share while providing exceptional customer value.
Daily activities:
- Market Development: Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for enterprise clients, focusing on large hotel groups in the DACH region.
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Drive new business, upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and meet/exceed revenue targets for enterprise accounts.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders by providing tailored value leads solutions.
- Pipeline & Sales Process: Manage a robust pipeline, from lead generation through to contract negotiation and closing, ensuring accurate CRM records and regular reporting.
- Partnerships & Collaboration: Leverage industry partnerships and work closely with internal teams (marketing, onboarding, customer success, product, connectivity) to align strategies and drive growth.
- Market Research & Strategy: Conduct market research to identify trends, threats, and opportunities, positioning Profitroom as a leader in the enterprise space.
- Brand Building: Represent Profitroom at key industry events and contribute to thought leadership, enhancing brand visibility.
- Mentorship & Team Development: Act as a mentor and coach to less experienced team members, sharing expertise and contributing to the overall success of the team.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with enterprise clients, ensuring compliance with legal and company guidelines.
Requirements:
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in enterprise sales or business development roles within SaaS or technology-driven solutions.
- Enterprise Sales Expertise: Strong track record of managing large, complex sales cycles and closing high-value deals with enterprise clients, particularly hotel groups or similar sectors.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic go-to-market plans tailored to enterprise clients, focusing on market expansion and revenue growth.
- Relationship Building: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Results-Driven: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets, with a focus on driving business outcomes and long-term client value.
- Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the hotel/hospitality industry, market trends, and customer needs, particularly within the assigned territory.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to identify customer challenges and provide innovative, tailored solutions that align with client objectives.
- Negotiation & Closing: Proven expertise in negotiating and closing high-value contracts, with an understanding of legal and compliance requirements.
- Technical Aptitude: Experience with technical products or services, particularly in SaaS, with the ability to articulate complex solutions and value propositions to clients.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., marketing, onboarding, connectivity, customer success) and contribute to team-wide strategies and growth.
- Mentorship: Willingness and ability to mentor and support other team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to elevate overall team performance.
- Language Skills: Excellent command of written and spoken English and German.

- Intro call with the Recruiter (up to 45 minutes)
- Role fit interview with Chief Commercial Officer for Enterprise (45 minutes)
- Presentation with 3 key stakeholders (60 minutes)
