What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Analyze behavioral health, physical health, and pharmacy data to inform initiatives on population health metrics
• Create and maintain internal and external dashboards and population health reports
• Extract information for trend analyses and structure analytical results in a visual manner
• Collaborate with team members to produce annual reports for the organization
• Respond to queries and data analysis requests from internal and external stakeholders
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, data science, health informatics, statistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as an analyst in the healthcare industry with medical claims, member data, and provider data
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience or specialized training in managed care or healthcare focused on population health data/analysis
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and security requirements related to healthcare data
• Exceptional written and face-to-face communication skills
  
  

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Master’s degree in public health, data science, health administration, health informatics, statistics, or a related field
• Familiarity or proficiency in using Power BI for data visualization
• Working knowledge of industry coding (revenue codes, ICD classifications, CPT codes, etc.)
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Business-oriented coursework and experience in collecting, interpreting, and reporting statistical data
