Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Part-Time Software Engineer with a strong focus on front-end development. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with customising widgets, CSS design, javascript, html5, PHP, MySQL, bootstrap, brilliant directories. Experienced with customisations able to input on feature sets. Start up experience combined with scale up practices would be nice to have.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain front-end components using Bootstrap and other
  • modern frameworks.
  • Information architecture and experience with multi-tiered membership sites
  • Collaborate with 3rd parties on design and technical interoperability
  • Integrate APIs and web hooks to enhance application functionality.
  • Work closely with suppliers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
  • Lead code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing, retrospectives, demos and documentation.

Requirements

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a front-end developer.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, and Bootstrap.
  • Experience with API integration and web hooks.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly applications.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a startup environment.
  • Knowledge of back-end technologies and data management.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.

Location:

Remote

Working Hours:

3 days per week (full day - 9am - 5pm UK time) or Mon-Thur (half-day 9am - 2pm UK time)

Salary Range:

R26 000 - R32 000
