About the job

  • Sales and Acquisition: Identify and secure new customers for Nigeria-bound direct freight services, including port-to-port, door-to-door, port-to-door, and door-to-port.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Transaction Handling: Manage sales transactions for direct freight services, ensuring each shipment is individually documented with an AWB or BOL. Consolidated freight services are not offered.
  • Account Management: Take on the role of account manager for all customers sourced and onboarded.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Advanced certifications in Sales, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management are an added advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics sales, business development preferably in the Upstream Oil and Gas sector.
  • Strong sales abilities with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to build relationships, close deals, and manage accounts effectively.
  • Proactive attitude toward customer engagement and retention with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Self-driven, highly motivated, and capable of working independently in a remote environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, sales management software, and online tools for communication and sales management. Experience handling AWB, BOL, and other freight documentation is preferred.
  • Uphold the exclusivity agreement and adhere to company policies regarding client management.
