What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with other developers on a team to design, develop, maintain, and enhance high quality software products.
- Build scalable, enterprise-class software products
- Resolve problems of advanced scope and engage assistance from more experienced team members where appropriate.
- Contribute to and benefit from a team of amazing people
- Facilitate continuous improvement and agile SDLC
- Write clean, well-formed, testable, and maintainable software following the accepted coding standards and using best software development practices.
- Identify, troubleshoot, debug, and resolve defects in software and related systems on an advanced level.
- Contribute to the project discovery process in a meaningful way.
- Identify ways to optimize our software products to provide for the needs of our enterprise scale business.
- Baccalaureate degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience developing websites and applications.
- Experience in PHP with frameworks of the likes of Laravel, Symfony, Code Igniter etc. (at least one of these is a must)
- Extra points for development experience with WordPress.
- Experience with SQL relational databases
- Understanding of client-side scripting frameworks (e.g. React.js) and/or Understanding of RESTful application development
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Experience with command line environments, Git and other development tools. Experience with Agile Scrum SDLC
- Experience with CI/CD Pipelines
- Experience with software containers and cloud infrastructure is a plus!
