THE ROLE

Reporting to the Cyber Response Lead, the Cyber Response Analyst will support all activities associated with Cyber Response services. This includes partnering with our MSSP to drive process optimisation and service improvements. Responsibilities include Threat Detection, Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, Forensic responsibilities and day-to-day running of the Security Operations Centre.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support in the continuous improvement of the Security Operations Centre, developing Threat Detection capabilities and Incident Response processes.
  • Implementation and development of detection rules that are relevant to Wella’s threat profile and technology stack and aligned to Mitre Att&ck.
  • Member of the Cyber Security Incident Response Team, responsible for handling any major cyber incidents within IT and Operational Technology environments.
  • Improve logging coverage, supporting log optimisation and cost efficiency.
  • Reduction of response times via process improvements and automation.
  • Augment existing security tools and services, identifying service improvement opportunities and partnering with our MSSP to deliver these, including cost optimisation

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Proven experience of detecting and responding to cyber security incidents
  • Strong understanding of Incident Response processes and frameworks
  • Strong understanding of Mitre Att&ck TTP’s and developing detection rules
  • Knowledge of CIS or NIST (or equivalent) security frameworks
  • Demonstratable collaborative team working experience

Desirable

  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • Cyber security qualifications
  • Strong understanding and experience of Operational Technology environments
