The Role

As a Quality Assurance Lead at LucaNet, you will spearhead our QA activities for product development, managing both manual and automation QA Engineers. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing comprehensive test strategies, managing resources, and ensuring the quality of our releases.

What you'll do

  • Develop a deep understanding of Lucanet content, processes, and tools.
  • Design and execute test strategies, solutions, infrastructure, and documentation for releases and projects.
  • Prepare release test execution setups using Jira.
  • Manage resources and set priorities for the QA Engineers within your team.
  • Oversee and mentor QA Engineers, ensuring their professional growth and alignment with project goals.
  • Conduct interviews and provide feedback for QA candidates.
  • Onboard new QA Engineers effectively.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives in coordination with the QA Manager.
  • Identify and manage QA risks, devising mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with Lucanet’s QA processes throughout project lifecycles.
  • Collect and report QA metrics across projects.
  • Develop and perform tests for both functional and non-functional requirements.


What you bring to the table

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Quality Engineer with demonstrated people management
  • Strong programming skills in at least one programming language out of Java, C#/.NET or Typescript
  • Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks, such as Playwright (highly preferable) or Selenium, Appium, or JUnit.
  • Proven experience in automation testing and quality assurance, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in test automation
  • Solid understanding of software development processes, agile methodologies, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD)
  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
