About The Role

This role will suit candidates who are looking for the next step in their career within an established design team. The successful candidate will collaborate with senior technicians to create detailed design drawings using BIM & AutoCAD. You will participate in the revision and updating of drawings based on feedback from engineers, subcontractors, or clients. You will assist in the preparation of conceptual sketches and initial design layouts.

About You

As a BIM Technician, you will be an integral part of our established design team. You will assist senior members of the team in translating conceptual ideas, specifications, and inputs into comprehensive, clear, and accurate drawings using BIM & AutoCAD. Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating on the revision and updating of drawings throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, and delivering high-quality design drawings in a timely manner.

Skills And Experience

  • Certificate or Diploma in Engineering/Construction CAD or relevant field.
  • A minimum 2-3 years’ experience in similar role.
  • A strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
  • Experience in BIM &AutoCAD software, with a basic understanding of 3D modelling.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic design team.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards is a plus.
