Homeoffice Interpreter (Ukrainian Native Speaker)

Location: Home-based (Remote)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Bilingual Interpreter (C1 level in Ukrainian and English) to join our remote team, supporting professional interpretation services across various fields such as insurance, legal, and medical (both general and forensic). As part of the partnership between Teleperformance Portugal and Language Lines Solutions, this role requires precise communication skills to ensure accurate and effective interpretation via phone and video channels.

Training Program:

• Duration: 3 weeks (8 hours per day)
• Language: Conducted in English
• Start Time: Varies between 08:30 AM and 09:30 AM, depending on the group
• Training Includes:
• Integration into the client's team
• Training on new computer software programs
• Comprehensive product training on the client's products and services
• Customer management training for handling phone, email, and chat communications
• On-the-job training and independent application of training content
  
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional interpretation services for insurance, legal, and medical sectors, ensuring clear and accurate communication.
• Review and process legal notices and customer content in line with company guidelines.
• Handle hybrid tasks involving both phone and video channels.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality in all communications.
  
  
  

Working Conditions:

• Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours per day with an additional lunch break hour)
• Shifts: Rotational shift pattern 24/7, including weekends and holidays
• Holidays: Adhere to Portuguese public holidays; if worked, receive a compensatory day off
• Vacation:
• 1st year: Up to 20 days of proportional vacation
• Subsequent years: 22 days per calendar year, depending on circumstances
  
• Bonuses: Holiday and Christmas bonuses, equivalent to one months base salary, paid in monthly instalments
  
  

Accommodation:

• Option: the company provides accommodation in company-rented apartments for the first 14 months
• Features: Fully equipped and furnished apartments with paid utilities (water, gas, electricity, cable TV, internet)
• Eligibility: Available to applicants currently living more than 100km from the workplace
• Conditions: No pets allowed, apartments located 20-60 minutes from the workplace
  
  
  

Trial Period:

• Duration: 1 month after contract signature
• Conditions: Performance during the trial period, including attendance and punctuality, will influence the final employment decision.
  
  
  

Workplace:

• Location: Home-based; work from your private residence or company-provided apartment
• Equipment: the company provides necessary technical equipment (PC, screen, keyboard, mouse)
  
  
  

Compensation Package:

• Base Salary
• Bonuses: Christmas and Holiday allowances, paid monthly
• Apartment Benefit: Tax-free benefit-in-kind (until 31st Dec 2026) for employees living in the client's apartments
• Health Insurance: Provided from day one of the employment contract
• Meal Allowance: Paid via debit card, usable at restaurants, cafeterias, and supermarkets
• Taxes: Income tax (variable) and Social Security tax (flat-rate of 11%)
