What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Serve as the initial point of contact for patients, answering incoming calls in a polite and professional manner
• Schedule office appointments and procedures, ensuring accurate phone messages and Rx refill requests
• Provide information to patients about physicians, directions, and educational materials
• Maintain accurate records of referrals and prepare new patient packets
• Recommend workflow efficiencies to improve the overall patient experience
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within a medical office environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff

• Bachelor’s degree in management or healthcare administration
• Experience with Meditech and Epic systems
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and make decisions when necessary
• Flexibility and personal integrity to function effectively as part of a team
