- Input, update, delete, and review data within the Abandoned Mines and Site Cleanup Module (AMSCM) database, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Perform Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) on environmental data to maintain the integrity of the database
- Work with digital and paper files to translate them into data entries in the AMSCM
- Generate digital map products using AMSCM-related data and assist in GIS-based data analysis
- Provide monthly progress reports detailing work accomplished, planned activities, and any issues encountered
- Experience with data entry and validation, particularly in environmental or related fields
- Proficiency in GIS platforms for data visualization and management
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high data quality standards
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while adhering to project deadlines
- Strong communication skills for regular reporting and coordination with team members and managers
- Previous experience with environmental data systems or databases, especially within governmental agencies
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and terminology related to abandoned mines and hazardous waste sites
