Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst II in Nashville, Tennessee. This role primarily involves responding to service requests, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining our Help Desk System. You will be a crucial part of our team, ensuring smooth operations within the scope of hardware and software troubleshooting, ticketing systems, and providing support for mobile devices.
Responsibilities:
Timely response to incoming service requests and documenting them in the Help Desk System
Classifying and prioritizing service requests as per department standards
Troubleshooting a wide range of issues including personal computer hardware, software, operating systems, printers, and network/internet access
Ensuring all activities are documented in the Help Desk System in accordance with departmental standards
Escalating service requests to the appropriate resource when necessary
Maintaining the resolution knowledge base by posting all relevant solutions
Preparing and presenting enterprise communications as required
Assisting in internal projects that improve the overall effectiveness of the Help Desk Team
Monitoring workloads and backlogs in the Help Desk Team to facilitate higher service levels and team goal achievement
Connecting to systems remotely to work with employees in identifying and correcting computing problems
Proactively identifying problems and trends in the environment and assisting with problem-solving.
Requirements
Proficiency in Basic Network Troubleshooting, Basic Troubleshooting, Hardware Troubleshooting, and Network Troubleshooting
Ability to Troubleshoot Hardware and Network issues effectively
Experience in handling Problem Tickets, Service Desk Tickets, Support Tickets, and using Ticketing Systems
Knowledge of Desktop Hardware, Computer Hardware, Hardware & Software Installation, Hardware and Software, Hardware Components, Hardware configuration, Hardware Devices, and Hardware Installation
Familiarity with PC Software, Software Application, Software Asset Management, Software Configuration, Software Configuration Management, Software Deployment, Software Implementations, Software Installation, Software Integration, Software Technology, Software Validation, and Software Upgrades
Expertise in managing Label printers, Network Printers, and Xerox Printers
Understanding of Email security, Email servers, and Email software
Proficient in Mobile Device Support, Mobile Device Management, and Mobile Device handling
Experience in Network documentation, Technical Documentation, and User Documentation
Ability to perform Triage and Telephone Triage tasks effectively
