Job Description

This position requires strong organizational and analytical skills. The ideal candidate works well under pressure and is capable of turning data around to meet strict client needs. They must have a strong sense of ownership, attention to details, and be capable of engaging with other teams for escalations and follow up.

Responsibilities:


  • Assist with billing process and payment reconciliation for various product offerings and transaction types including working cross-functionally with other business partners to manage client accounts, billing implementations/configurations, and revenue reporting variances
  • Partner with IT team on migration of Salesforce CPQ+Billing to new proprietary cloud billing system
  • Reconcile client remittance and payments to system data to ensure accuracy and determine the validity of open balances, unpaid invoices and potential refunds. Analyze data to identify trends and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Ability to pull data from different source systems for analysis and determine if the billing and data files are accurate. Identifies, distinguishes, and analyzes multiple components of a problem and then makes conclusions. Support ongoing maintenance and evolution of reporting including compiling data, reporting results and understanding/explaining points of variance
  • Work with senior management and/or client service managers regarding requests related to billing data issues, onboarding new clients, client escalations, and the ability to participate and/or lead client facing calls, with both verbal and written communication skills
  • Learn systems in a timely manner and adapt to changing processes and procedures as well as create/update process documentation. Creates solutions or works with business partners to formulate and justify appropriate solutions and/or changes.
  • Utilize Salesforce to work cases, handle tasks, manage deliverables and track escalations
  • Assist with various billing-related reporting including ad-hoc requests


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, billing, and/or Account Receivable experience.
  • Experience in data analysis, consulting, or related field.
  • Ability to use analytical, logical, and organizational skills to make business decisions using complex information.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis.
  • Excellent critical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and explain complex information clearly.
  • Strong, self-motivated team player.

Benefits eligibility may differ depending on full-time or part-time status. Compensation depends on the applicable US geographic market. The expected base pay for this position ranges from $72,000-$85,000 annually, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
