IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

The Financial Business Partner is to be a trusted adviser that adds value and will assist in decision making by providing 'real time' support and analysis, forward looking financial insights, creating alternative business scenarios by evaluating respective risks and opportunities and creating transparency of financial performance reporting. By creating real and active partnership with both operations and management, accountable for financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, is developing consolidated management reporting and improving the quality of internal and external financial data. This role is also accountable for financial revenue month end closing and controlling and key contributor for setting up the company's account structure in our financial systems and is partnering with key stakeholders.


  • Lead financial planning/forecast and budget reviews with key stakeholders throughout the year;
  • Participate in month end closing activities including accruals, reconciliations ensuring accurateness and timeliness
  • Prepare annual budgets as well as financial forecasts throughout the year
  • Conduct budget reviews with key stakeholders
  • Coordinating the organization's accounting structure and areas of focus
  • Performing analyses, deviations, findings and interpreting trends requiring management's attention
  • Partnering with business partners and other key stakeholders
  • Developing consolidated management reporting and business performance reviews
  • Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
  • Developing and documenting applicable policies and business processes to strengthen internal controls
  • Develop and expand financial reporting in our internal Power Bi-Dashboard
  • Act as business partner for other teams to support improvement of processes
  • Preparation of financial and management reports and procedures on a local and at consolidated level
  • Advising and supporting the business in areas related to future state financial performance
  • Providing forward looking financial insight on alternative business scenarios
  • Improving the quality of internal and external financial data to drive business decision making
  • Supporting finance-related activities for relevant cost center including systems maintenance and contracts


TO SUCCEED YOU NEED

  • Strong ability to learn and adapt in a fast pace business organization with hybrid setup
  • Hands-on and collaborative mindset
  • Proactive personality that gets things done
  • Hold a degree in business studies and a recognized finance degree (CPA or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of experience in a finance controller and/or finance business partner role(s)
  • Have experience leading creation and analysis of financial management reporting
  • Proven experience with forecast and planning, month-end and year-end close processes
  • Strong communication skills and excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal Portuguese (C2) and English (C1)
