About the job

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator to support our HR/OD team with the recruitment and onboarding of new volunteers.

What are we looking for?

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with online recruitment platforms. Previous experience in HR or administrative roles is a plus but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What will you be doing?

Assist with the management of the volunteer recruitment platform, ensuring job postings are up-to-date. Maintain an organised system for tracking volunteer applications and their statuses. Follow up with candidates via email, Reach platform, or phone to confirm receipt of applications and provide updates on their status. Arrange interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers. Send feedback to candidates post-interview, ensuring timely and respectful communication. Prepare and distribute interview materials and agendas to interview panels. Coordinate Open Book sessions, other onboarding meetings and training sessions for new volunteers. Prepare and distribute onboarding materials, including welcome packets and organisational manuals. Conduct preliminary background and reference checks on potential volunteers. Maintain accurate and up-to-date volunteer records in compliance with organisational policies. Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and filed appropriately.
