Our client in the tech space is seeking a talented Web Developer to join their team for a content migration project, focusing on building out new React web pages. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely on a W2 contract, currently slated through the end of the year, with the potential for an extension.

Our client in the tech space is seeking a talented Web Developer to join their team for a content migration project, focusing on building out new React web pages. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely on a W2 contract, currently slated through the end of the year, with the potential for an extension.
Responsibilities:
- Build new web pages using the React framework, integrating with a headless web server architecture originating from WordPress.
- Interact with the Content Management System (CMS) to ensure seamless content migration.
- Maintain and update the GitLab repository, ensuring the integrity of the codebase.
- Develop and maintain React web components to support the new site architecture.
- Replace existing vendors responsible for maintaining WordPress sites, taking ownership of the migration and rebranding efforts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a simplified and user-friendly experience as part of the rebrand and migration.
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Education: Bachelors
- Mid-level experience in web development, with a strong focus on React and JavaScript.
- Proven experience building and maintaining web pages in the React framework.
- Familiarity with GitLab for repository management and version control.
- Experience with headless CMS architecture, particularly in migrating from WordPress.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects with a high level of responsibility.
- College athletics experience is a plus, as it reflects strong responsibility management, which is highly valued by the team.
