Role Pitch CloudPay’s systems process large and growing volumes of customer data, we are constantly improving our software to increase performance (scale) and develop new features. Increasingly using Cloud technologies with new upcoming technologies for back and front-end services, we are creating true enterprise solutions.

- Analysing requirements, technical design, and implementing into new capabilities within the platform
- Providing technical support for existing functionalities in production environment
- Upholding code standards and best practices through code reviews, refactoring efforts, and peer mentoring
- Engaging in the identification and remediation of issues related to code / solutions quality, functionality or other problems in the technical and business domains
- Documenting new or updated functionality as released
- Participating actively in all aspects of the agile process and ceremonies to deliver usable functionality
- Minimum 5 years hands-on development experience with a soild foundation in OOP and Design Patterns, Clean code and SOLID principles
- Strong working knowledge of Java 11/JavaEE,Spring framework or Spring boot, JavaScript, JQuery and RESTful Web-Services
- Spring Boot web, Security, Actuator, AMQP, JPA, batch and mail
- Java 17 working knowledge is an edge
- Experience working with MySQL/MariaDB, MongoDB AND NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) database management systems
- Some experience in API-driven development and application performance tuning
- Familiarity with microservices and its implementation
- Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or a related discipline
- Good team player
- Excellent logical, analytical skills and attention to detail
- Self-starter, able to own, prioritize and plan own workloads
- Flexibility in working to tight timescales to meet release deadlines
- Experience in Vue.js, Java Server Pages (JSP), AWS Cloud Engineering, JUnit, Mockito, RabbitMQ, Groovy
- Background in Payroll, HR or other financial domains
- Working with Agile/Scrum environment
