We are offering an opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to handle claims for our subrogation group. The role involves the review and evaluation of claims, coordination of investigations, and escalating cases to a higher authority when necessary. We are offering an opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to handle claims for our subrogation group. The role involves the review and evaluation of claims, coordination of investigations, and escalating cases to a higher authority when necessary. This is a short-term contract position in the legal industry.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate up to 10 claims per day for our subrogation group
- Determine subrogation and coordinate investigation efforts
- Provide detailed evaluations of each case and escalate to a senior attorney when necessary
- Utilize legal software such as 3M, Case Management Software, LexisNexis and other Management Systems effectively
- Handle legal briefing and documentation tasks
- Administer subrogation claims and insurance defense litigation
- Develop expertise in handling complaints and claim administration
- Gain experience in civil litigation and insurance defense
- Must hold a valid license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction
- Demonstrated experience in Civil Litigation, Claim Administration, and Insurance Defense Litigation
- Proven ability in Complaint Handling and Documentation
- Knowledge of Subrogation and Subrogation Claim procedures
- Prior experience in Insurance Defense is essential
- Must be adept at briefing and preparing legal documents
