Junior Sales Engineer - Remote Job, 1+ Year Experience

In this critical role, you'll wear multiple hats as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), technical advisor, and product advocate. You'll be instrumental in supporting our sales efforts by providing technical expertise throughout the entire sales cycle.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Technical Trailblazer: Become our go-to technical resource, supporting the sales team with product knowledge and expertise across all our offerings.
  • Client Champion: Collaborate with Account Executives and potential clients to understand their current systems, identify pain points, and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Presentation Pro: Craft and deliver engaging technical presentations and product demonstrations, showcasing our solutions via phone, web meetings, and occasional on-site visits.
  • Integration Architect: Work closely with clients, product, and engineering teams to assess integration needs and configure solutions for optimal functionality.
  • Sales Success Strategist: Partner with the sales team to ensure smooth hand-offs to customer success, fostering long-term client relationships and maximizing retention.
  • Pre-Sales Powerhouse: Lead Proof of Concept (POC) efforts for enterprise accounts during pre-sales cycles, guiding prospects towards successful customer conversion.
  • Technical Troubleshooter: Identify and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the sales process, ensuring customer satisfaction at every touchpoint.
  • Relationship Builder: Build and nurture strong relationships with all stakeholders throughout the sales cycle, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • CRM Champion: Maintain and update sales demonstration databases and diligently record sales activity and customer information within our CRM (Salesforce).
  • Customer Success Catalyst: Assist with post-sale hand-offs between the sales and customer success teams, ensuring a seamless transition for new clients.

To be successful, you'll need:

  • 1 year of experience in a related field such as Sales Engineering, Customer Success, or Consulting.
  • A strong understanding of business processes, field service management software, or the service industry (a plus).
  • Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery models (a plus).
  • A methodical approach to customer discovery, effectively identifying and documenting technical requirements for cross-functional teams.
  • The ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and easy-to-understand language for non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with API architecture and data integration to support partner and channel integrations.
  • Solid computer literacy with knowledge of various mobile devices (iOS and Android).
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • The ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
