Sub-Saharan AfricaThe River Modernisation Project Officer roles will work with an interdisciplinary team to drive the continuous improvement of the operation of the River Murray system. The roles support a range of activities including policy development, data and option analysis, incident management and planning, and stakeholder engagement. The roles work closely with the River Murray Operations and Environmental water delivery functions and state and commonwealth water management agencies.Sub-Saharan Africa

  • Sub-Saharan AfricaSupport the maintenance of the River Murray system operating framework, including reviewing key operational activities, analysing data and information and proposing improvements to River Murray operation arrangements.Sub-Saharan Africa
  • Sub-Saharan AfricaSupport a review of the resilience of the operation of the River Murray system and underpinning legislation and data systems.Sub-Saharan Africa
  • Sub-Saharan AfricaSupport the review of the Basin Plan regarding its potential impacts on and interaction with the operation of the River Murray System, particularly the provision of Critical Human Water Needs.Sub-Saharan Africa
  • Sub-Saharan AfricaSupport the implementation and improvement of River Murray system water trade policy.Sub-Saharan Africa
  • Sub-Saharan AfricaSupport the investigation and assessment options for reinstating water delivery capacity in the River Murray system.Sub-Saharan Africa
  • Sub-Saharan AfricaWork closely with state water management agencies and other stakeholders regarding the operation of the River Murray system.Sub-Saharan Africa
