This is a flexible position and has the option of working in our Toronto office full-time, hybrid throughout the week or working entirely remotely.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technology Alliance Manager who will be responsible for managing Vena’s partnership with Microsoft across multiple commercial programs and Go To Market initiatives. This role sits on Vena’s global ecosystem team and reports to the Senior Director, Ecosystem. In this highly visible role, you will be a key driver and contributor to Vena’s short- and long-term success with Microsoft and the Microsoft ecosystem. Your ability to partner internally across Vena’s functional organizations to ensure alignment with, commitment to, and execution of our partnership strategy and related plans with Microsoft is paramount for success in this role.

What You Will Do

  • Collaboratively craft, drive and manage GTM initiatives in partnership with Vena’s Ecosystem, Marketing, Product, Partner and Sales teams to ensure alignment with our Microsoft GTM strategy and P2P plays
  • Obtain and maintain expert-level knowledge of relevant Microsoft partner programs, updates, requirements, competencies, benefits, etc
  • Manage and administer partner programs such as ISV Success, including managing benefits, incentives and related reporting
  • Manage/administer Microsoft Partner Center including Marketplace listing creation and management
  • Establish and facilitate cross-functional alignment between respective Vena and Partner stakeholders such as Product, Marketing, and Sales for plan execution as needed
  • Partner with Vena’s Ecosystem, Partner Marketing and Partner teams to ensure alignment with our Microsoft GTM strategy, including the respective ecosystems of System Integrators, Service Partners, Technology (ISV), and Solutions Partners to maximize results
  • Maintain ownership of lead and opportunity tracking between Microsoft and Vena and work closely with Vena's Ops team to ensure accuracy in data tracking and reporting
  • Prepare and manage plans, executive summaries, updates and education in shared PowerPoint decks and presentations to small groups and company-wide
  • Help develop Partnership DNA across Vena's Sales, Operations, Product teams through continuous updates, education, enablement and manage, and track all project management and progress through Microsoft Planner
  • Partner with Operations, Enablement, Finance and Legal to operationalize effective execution of strategy and related business plans
  • This role may require occasional travel
  • Other duties as assigned

Does this sound like you?

  • 3+ Years in Partnerships, Alliances, Business Development roles
  • 2+ Years of Strategic Partner Management inclusive of very large software technology leaders such as Microsoft,Amazon, Sage, Oracle, or Salesforce
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem is highly preferred
  • Deep understanding of SaaS-based business models, marketplaces, GTM and exposure to or experience with co-selling with Microsoft or similar
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization
  • High degree of resourcefulness, tenacity, flexibility and adaptability with strong negotiation and prioritization skills
  • Strong operational skills, business acumen, analytical and critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proven reputation as a contributor who exemplifies and fits with Vena’s core values of Customer Trust, One Team, Respect & Authenticity, Execution Excellence
